Stowe Road Rally & Bike Rodeo
Although the curriculum at MMWA is based on what is presented in the sending school classroom, the MMWA teachers are fully responsible for course content, daily lesson plans and the activities that support the lessons. We go well beyond a typical tutorial program. Our setting allows for a great deal of freedom in lesson planning. Teachers are expected to use all tools available to them, such as video, Internet, fieldwork, Stowe community resources and experiential learning.
MMWA has a variety of materials and equipment to support the broad range of curricula offered here. We have a Science Lab, a Computer Lab, an extensive software, video and teacher text collection and Student Library. The Science Lab is equipped with the basics necessary to perform earth science, biology, chemistry and physics labs. This includes microscopes, slide collections, a range of chemicals, grow lights, a bone collection, burners, atom/molecule building sets, glassware, a centrifuge, scales and measuring glassware. We also have software that replicates more complicated chemistry, advanced biology and physics labs that require cost-prohibitive materials.

My experiences at MMWA have changed my life, creating who I am today and sculpting who I will be tomorrow. MMWA was the best college prep experience possible, handing me college responsibilities in a high school setting.
