The Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy is located in Stowe, Vermont, two miles from the base of Mt. Mansfield.Founded in 1992, MMWA is an independent private school approved by the Vermont Board of Education and dedicated to providing an individually designed, quality experience in both athletics and academics to get students involved in winter sport competition. MMWA operates five months of the year, giving young athletes and their parents a viable option to full year programs. In this way, students may live at home the greater portion of the year, attend their local school and compete on equal ground with other elite athletes while maintaining a high standard of education.
