Admissions

Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy and Mt. Mansfield Ski & Snowboard Club look for a variety of attributes in an applicant. Well-rounded individuals who are committed and dedicated to both their academic and athletic pursuits are best suited for this program. What we like to see in a Mt. Mansfield student athlete:

• Strong work ethic
• Motivated
• Curiosity about the world around them
• Compassionate individual who is respectful of others
• A sense of humor
• The ability to learn independence and responsibility
• A willingness to participate on all levels in the Mt. Mansfield community
• The ability to handle a rigorous schedule

Although we recommend that applicants be good students the individualized nature of the program has led to success on a number of fronts including academic confidence, improved learning skills and extra-curricular pursuits. We pride ourselves on encouraging and supporting each student’Äôs interests beyond education and competition.
