Training Camps

Each year MMWA students are invited to join MMSC camps for off-season training.

For the past several years MMSC has organized a fall training camp in Nakiska, Alberta, Canada. This year’s MMSC Fall Training Camp will run from November 19 - 29. This is a great opportunity for Club athletes to get early season on-snow training in an ideal setting. During the camp period, Nakiska is closed to the public and only available to ski racers to ensure maximum training time. The camp features a side trip to nearby Lake Louise to cheer on the U.S. Ski Team in a World Cup Super G or Downhill race.

MMSC’s Summer Alpine Training Camp is in Les Deux Alpes, France. Les Deux Alpes provides ideal summer ski conditions. MMWA/MMSC athletes train alongside the world’s best on our own blocked off lane. Stay tuned for other camp information as past summer and fall trips have included trips to Colorado, Mt. Hood and Zermatt, Switzerland.
